Custom Giuseppe Zanotti Sneakers are Among the Perks of Being Jennifer Lopez

Categories:Other Brands

Jennifer Lopez Giuseppe Zanotti Custom Wedge Sneakers

Here’s Jennifer Lopez, walking the streets of New York City with real estate broker Fredrik Eklund, a prominent player on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York. It seems that J.Lo is contemplating a move to the city and has her eye on a $20 million apartment in Chelsea. Anyway, she’s doing her real estate shopping in a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti Wedge Sneakers, which the brand confirms are customized to her liking. The normal version of this sneaker is currently on sale.

We saw Jennifer wearing a non-wedge, animal print version of this sneaker just a couple weeks ago on the set of a music video, and those were also customized with an extra metallic band just like the sneaks seen here. The Jennifer Lopez-Giuseppe Zanotti adoration is clearly mutual, and you can see a lot more of the brand’s shoes on J-Lo in “The Many Shoes of Jennifer Lopez”.

Kate Spade Does Flatforms for Spring 2015

Categories:Other Brands

Kate Spade Spring 2015_1

Kate Spade is known for its irreverent, playful aesthetic–remember the Le Taxi Slingback? We had the opportunity to attend the Kate Spade Spring 2015 show during New York Fashion Week and were excited to see no taxi-theme shoes; instead, we found a selection of modern sandals, including many flatforms.

The brand’s platform sandal keeps with the Kate Spade aesthetic with details like stone-adorned straps. Flatforms had a big moment this summer, and while both the TalkShoes staff and our readers seemed somewhat conflicted about the trend, I’m willing to give the Kate Spade version a spin–the jewels won me over. This collection also featured a great pair of slingback sandals, cutout booties and wedges, and everything is waiting for you in the gallery below!

Chanel DIY Charm

Categories:Other Brands

The Chanel Valentine 2014 Flap Bag is super cute huh? You know, it’s pink and it got all these charms hanging on the interwoven chain link. Charms with CC, heart and camellia flowers, I love it.

But really, besides the colors, the Valentine Bag is a just Chanel Classic Flap Bag and its a bit more expensive because it got all these small ‘extras’ integrated. (Oh, and its a limited edition).

READ: Chanel Valentine 2014 Flap Bag

What if there is a way to integrate your own ‘charms’ on your Chanel bag? Wouldn’t that make your bag a bit more personal and different than others?

Our member and friend Uxille has something to share with us, she figured out a way to personalize your Chanel Classic Flap Bag by designing and implementing your own ‘charms’ (kind-of a DIY). Oh, and she got inspired after reading one of our Vintage Chanel Charm Flap Bag post. I love her!

Here’s a step-by-step guide with vivid images to show you how its done:

And one more thing, we asked Uxille an important question: ‘How long did it took you to finish it? And where did you get the charms?’

Uxille: ‘Like 5 minutes. Mine is an old Moschino watch, so I get to have a watch with me without wearing one. Any charm bracelet will do, really’.

Dolce & Gabbana’s Spain-Inspired Spring 2015 Bags Include Doll Cases

Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2015 Handbags 4

At a certain point, it feels moot to review a Dolce & Gabbana collection. The Italian duo has more or less exempted itself from the vagaries of producing collections that correspond to particular seasons, trends or weather varieties; instead, they fill their seasonal collections with the same intricate, history-laden Mediterranean details they always do, and consumers gobble it up like Dolce might up and quit before fall.

For Spring 2015, the pair moved their aesthetic from Sicily to Spain, but the results were mostly the same as you’d expect, if slightly more red. The bags, too, were pretty much what we’ve come to expect–Sicily satchels, detailed box clutches with top handles, mini bags. The notable exceptions were the box-encased dolls that a couple of models. As for the dolls: I’ve seen no definitive word on what they are or what their significance is, but I’m sure Dolce’s VIP clients will be fighting to get them.
